What is cardano staking?
Staking is a vital feature of the Cardano Network. It is a basement of Cardano's PoS (proof of stake)
consensus protocol.
Every member of the network can stake ada to a pool in order to increase its chance to produce a block.
For each block minted, each participant will receive a reward.
It is not just a marketing offer, it literally keeps the network alive.
Rewards are paid every "epoch". The "epoch" is a 5 days network's cycle.

Any risks?
No. It is 100% safe.
Your coins don't leave your wallet and won't be locked.
Staking is like voting. You say "I want this pool to produce blocks".
So, your balance acts as your voting power. If you increase your balance, this power will also increase.
You don't need to re-delegate your funds. Each change is applied automatically.
A pool operator has no control over your money. You can not lose it.

What is MDS?
MDS means Medusa Development Support.
The pool's purpose is funding the Medusa Project and keep it free.

Why MDS?
There are some reasons to choose it:
- Low margin means higher profit
- Well-skilled operator
- Smart failover/recovery system
- MDS is a part of the "Single Pool Group" and improve network's decentralization
- By staking with MDS you help to develop the Medusa Wallet
- Every MDS' stakeholder will get some presents later ;)
How to stake?
- Get some ada to your own cardano wallet. Not an exchange one.
- Choose delegation/staking option
- Choose the pool by it's ticker: MDS, or id: 660f2b816e90e4e826daebf33357d76ab89414f88d57dd7d9f7898fe
- Click "Join"/"Delegate"
- It is not a transfering transaction. Your funds will not leave your balance.
- Wait until the next network snapshot in the end of current epoch
When you stake your coins with a pool and the next snapshot occurs, your delegation will be marked
down as staked.
Five days later, at the next snapshot, your delegation will then become active and will participate in minting the blocks your pool is assigned to make.
After that epoch ends, your rewards will be calculated and paid out at the following snapshot another five days later.
So to summarize: After you delegate for the first time it will take between fifteen and twenty days (three full epochs plus part of the one during which you started staking) until you will see your first rewards.
From then on, you will receive rewards after every epoch during which your pool makes blocks.
